What is the difference between a job and a task when using the Pipe App Job Scheduler. A job describes the entire scope of work, whilst a task refers to a specific portion of the job. A simple job such as replacing a tap washer may only require a single visit, therefor a job with only one task is created. Larger jobs, such as a loft conversion may require multiple site visits their for the  job will contain several tasks. Big Commercial  Projects can contain several jobs each with one or many tasks.  The task contains the details of the specific visit. The Job acts as the filing cabinet for all the tasks, the client’s details and the property details.

How to get started and set up your Business in Pipe App. In this section you enter the details of the Master Admin holder. The master admin is  typically the person in charge of the business. The fields marked with red asterisks are mandatory. Don't worry if you don't have all the information at hand. You can return here and edit all of the fields at a later date. Your details are now being processed and you are now ready to set up the business details. Choose and upload your company logo. The logo will appear of your reports, quotes and other documentation generated within Pipe. Enter your company's details. Select your currency from the drop down menu .Set the time increments and the initial job count and company operating hours. You also add your VAT details in this section. Now choose your subscription. You can always return to upgrade or downscale at a later stage. Enter your card details. Follow your card provider's authentication process. Once confirmed your account will be up an running, ready for you to add users and transform your company's workflow. Now you add user types. User types are similar to  job titles and indicate a user's role within the company. We will add one for now and return later to add several more. We will do the same for task types.
