GETTING STARTED AND SETTING UP YOUR COMPANY
How to get started and set up your Business in Pipe App.
In this section you enter the details of the Master Admin holder. The master admin is typically the person in charge of the business. The fields marked with red asterisks are mandatory. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the information at hand. You can return here and edit all of the fields at a later date.
Your details are now being processed and you are now ready to set up the business details.
Choose and upload your company logo. The logo will appear of your reports, quotes and other documentation generated within Pipe.
Enter your company’s details. Select your currency from the drop down menu .Set the time increments and the initial job count and company operating hours. You also add your VAT details in this section.
Now choose your subscription. You can always return to upgrade or downscale at a later stage. Enter your card details. Follow your card provider’s authentication process. Once confirmed your account will be up an running, ready for you to add users and transform your company’s workflow.
Now you add user types. User types are similar to job titles and indicate a user’s role within the company. We will add one for now and return later to add several more. We will do the same for task types. Task types can be any discipline your company carries out.
Lets add a new team member. The new user also gets assigned their user type. In this instance we will assign the role of a supervisor. Later in this video we will add more user types. A User’s permission right of either Technician, admin or super admin is assigned. You can add user specific note such as a list of the team member’s qualifications to the notes section..
You have successfully added your first new user.
Lets add more user types, task types and products.
Click on the profile icon at the top right of the screen. You will see your own and business profile. Here you can edit your business profile if required. By selecting task types you are able to add custom disciplines to your task type list. Selecting User types allows you to add your team members titles too.
The product section allows you to add products with custom prices. Adding images makes it easier to allocate products to your custom quotes.
Adding a new team member is very easy.
Select team in the top menu.
Add the user’s details and save. The user will receive an email invite to set their password and allow them to log into your organisation.
In your profile section you can set your own notification preferences. These are all on by default, Selecting only the desired notifications options limit the amount of emails you will receive.
